Course Reserves - Library Reading Lists

Learn about the Library Reading List tool, how it integrates with Brightspace, and how you can create your own.

Add the Cite It! button to your browser

On previous pages, you learned how to add citations/items from the Search and Create tabs within the Library Reading List. You can also use the Cite It! tool to add citations/items, without having to be in your reading list. Here's how to do that:

Install Cite it! Widget

You'll need to install the Cite it! widget onto your browser's bookmark bar/menu:

Click your user-name icon in the upper right-hand corner of your Library Reading List

Click Cite It!

Drag and drop the blue Cite It! button onto your bookmarks menu/toolbar. If you don't have a bookmarks menu/toolbar, you'll need to add one to your browser before you can use this feature.

Once you've added the button to your bookmarks menu, you're ready to use this tool from many websites on the internet. For more information, see the Supported sites drop-down on the installation page.
