If you have multiple courses or sections using the same reading lists, you can have the reading list duplicated or shared.
If you want multiple courses or sections to share the same reading list this would mean that when you add or remove a reading from a reading list in one course, this change would be reflected in all the courses.
1. Locate the Reading List options ellipsis
2. Select Manage Course Association
3. The Manage Course Association menu will open and you can look up the course you want to associate. You will have to add the Library Reading List external tool to every course you want to associate this list to for your courses to show up in the list.
4. Change the dates if you need to update them and then click Associate & Close if you don't want to add any more courses or click associate to keep the screen open to add more courses.
5. Once you are done adding the courses, you will see them listed in the Manage Course Association screen
If you want each course or section to have control over the reading list we can duplicate the reading list for you. This would mean if you want one section to be able to add or remove materials that wouldn't affect other sections or reading lists we can copy the reading lists.
1. To duplicate a reading list, you will click the Reading List options ellipsis
2. You will select Duplicate List
3. The reading list will indicate a duplicate was created and it will change to the newly duplicated list.
4. You can duplicate the list as many times as you need to and you will have to add the external reading list tool to all the courses in Brightspace in order to associate the list with a course.
