About the Executive Branch

U.S. Executive Branch agencies, under Article 2 of the United States Constitution, describe the roles and powers of the President of the United States.  This branch also includes agencies such as the Department of Agriculture responsible for carrying out government policies approved and funded by  Congress  and other organizations within these departments.  Leaders of these departments are nominated by the President and must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
