1b: Create a reading list

These instructions will help you set up your reading list so that you can start adding your citations.

Locate your Library Reading List in Brightspace

Click the Library Reading List module in your Brightspace course (yours may be named something different than the example below), then click the external link, PWL - Library Reading List (1.3).

The introduction screen will appear. There are multiple ways to create a reading list. You can select Create a new list from scratch or Create list from an existing List. You can also select Ask your library to create your list.

Create a new Reading List

To create a new list, you will select Create a new list from scratch.

Once you select this, a new screen will slide out with fields to fill out. The List name can remain the same or it can be changed. The description can be left blank or you can add a description. This information can be edited at any time. Your students will see this information.

Once you fill out the information, you can select Next.

Click Create List on the next screen.
