The state’s new teacher licensing testing program will include tests in four developmental levels and more than 50 content areas. The program's CORE Academic Skills Assessment, which will assess candidates' essential skills in reading, writing and mathematics, will be the first to be administered in January 2013. The site will begin accepting registrations for administration of that test in October 2012.
