This workshop will serve as basic introduction to bayesian optimization approaches used in hyper-parameter optimization. I will try to explain the concept of Gaussian process (GP) and the process of performing bayesian optimization in an intuitive way, with also code examples to demonstrate how to apply bayesian optimization algorithms.
