This workshop introduces ArcGIS Online, a cloud-based platform for creating and sharing interactive maps. Participants will learn how to publish spatial data, create web maps and applications, and collaborate with others through the platform. The session also covers the basics of using ArcGIS Online’s analysis tools. Students will be able to create and share interactive spatial visualizations online, facilitating collaboration and dissemination of spatial data. This capability is useful for projects that require teamwork and public engagement, as well as for presenting findings in an accessible format.
Workshop Key Concepts: Publishing spatial data, creating web maps, building web applications, collaboration tools, and basic spatial analysis in ArcGIS Online.
