Royal Society

Purdue University has entered into a Read & Publish Partnership with the Royal Society. Under this agreement, corresponding authors at Purdue University-West Lafayette can publish in Royal Society journals without the need to pay fees.

Which journals are covered under this agreement?

This publishing agreement allows no-cost open access publishing in the following journals:

  • Biology Letters
  • Interface Focus
  • Journal of the Royal Society Interface
  • Notes and Records of the Royal Society
  • Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A
  • Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B
  • Proceedings of the Royal Society A
  • Proceedings of the Royal Society B
  • Open Biology
  • Royal Society Open Science.

 

Who is eligible to participate?

Corresponding authors at Purdue University--West Lafayette can publish Open Access research articles without paying an article processing charge. Eligible authors must be affiliated with Purdue University at the time the manuscript is accepted for publication and the manuscript must be accepted within the time limits of the agreement.

How long do we have access to this offer?

This agreement is in effect beginning January 1, 2023 and runs through December 31, 2024.

How can I take advantage of this offer?

You must provide your Purdue affiliation at the time of article submission. Use your Purdue email address when you submit your manuscript and be sure to include your institutional affiliation. For more information, visit Royal Society Read & Publish for Authors.
