Microbiology Society

In partnership with the BTAA, Purdue University has entered into a Publish and Read agreement with Microbiology Society. As part of the agreement, corresponding authors from Purdue University - West Lafayette campus can publish open access in any of Microbiology Society's journals without the need to pay article processing charges.

Microbiology, Journal of General Virology, Journal of Medical Microbiology, Microbial Genomics, International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, Access Microbiology, and JMM Case Reports.

Who is eligible to participate?

Corresponding authors at Purdue University - West Lafayette campus can publish Open Access research articles without paying an article processing charge.

How can I take advantage of this offer?

Authors must provide their Purdue affiliation at the time of article submission, including using Purdue University email address upon submission of the manuscript. Corresponding authors must be affiliated with Purdue University on the date of acceptance of the manuscript. Upon acceptance, the corresponding author will need to accept the open access agreement and sign the appropriate Creative Commons license.
