Purdue University Libraries has entered into a transformative Open Access agreement with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press. Under this agreement, Purdue authors can opt to publish open access at no cost to themselves.
This publishing agreement allows no-cost open access publishing in the following journals:
Corresponding authors at Purdue University--West Lafayette can publish Open Access research articles without paying an article processing charge. Eligible authors must be affiliated with Purdue University at the time the manuscript is accepted for publication and the manuscript must be accepted within the time limits of the agreement.
CSHL Press charges article processing fees as well as open access publishing fees. In short, any article published with CSHL Press is subject to article processing fees, while authors who choose open access publishing are charged open access publishing fees in addition to the standard article processing fees. Under this agreement, ALL fees are covered for Purdue University corresponding authors who choose to publish open access. Authors who opt out of open access publishing will still be responsible for standard article processing charges.
This agreement is in effect beginning January 1, 2023 and runs through December 31, 2024.
You must provide your Purdue affiliation at the time of article submission. Use your Purdue email address when you submit your manuscript and be sure to include your institutional affiliation, including institutional address.
