Discounts for Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Purdue University is a supporting member of several publisher Open Access programs. As a benefit of our support, these publishers provide discounted article processing charges (APC's) to Purdue authors. Participating publishers include BMC, SpringerOpen, DeGruyter, MDPI and SPIE. Discounted APC Partnerships

Publishing Discounts

BioMed Central (BMC): BioMed Central publishes 250 peer-reviewed open access journals. Purdue University is a Supporter Member, which means that when you publish in any BioMed Central or SpringerOpen journal, you will receive a 15% discount on the article-processing charge.

SpringerOpen: Purdue University is a Supporter Member, which means that when you publish in any BioMed Central or SpringerOpen journal, you will receive a 15% discount on the article-processing charge.

DeGruyter: 10% discount

Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development (JAFSCD): Purdue is a shareholder for Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development (JAFSCD). Being a shareholder, Purdue authors have the $500 APC waived.

MDPI: 10% discount

SPIE: Purdue authors receive a 25% discount on the three Gold OA journals:
