Scopus by Elsevier is an interdisciplinary citation database, established in 2004 It has some powerful tools for researchers, students, and administrators to discover research, trends, and insights. It indexes over 2.4 billion citations, 94 million records, 29,000 titles, and 330,000 books. These titles are all searchable via the search and advanced search engines in Scopus.
Scopus allows researchers to see a number of different unique metrics, statistics, and information sets for researchers, students, and administrators. Scopus builds what it calls "researcher profiles" algorithmically. These profiles contain all of the information you will be able to gleam from the database about yourself. If you think there is an error such as your publications not showing up, click "edit profile" in the top right of the record.
