  • 50+ years of joint venture data from the London Stock Exchange Group accessed via LSEG Workspace.
  • Purdue only subscribes to joint ventures deal information with LSEG SDC Platinum, not M&A activity generally - see alternatives below.
  • You first need a LSEG Workspace account - if you do not, register with a Purdue West Lafayette email address.
  • LSEG handles the entire registration process for the Workspace product -- there can be a time delay and be sure to check your spam filter for a "welcome" message. Purdue has no control over the Workspace registration process.
  • When you have LSEG Workspace access, email parrlib@purdue.edu to request the LSEG SDC Platinum add-on.
  • Library staff will contact you via email when extra permissions have been added to your LSEG account.
  • You do not need to install any software; access SDC Platinum via LSEG Workspace web access.
  • Specifically, use the search bar at the top of the LSEG  Workspace web access page:
    •  Search for "SDC" (without the quotation marks) and select the app option.

Need M&A Deal Information - Not Just Joint Ventures?

  • LSEG client support asserts that SDC Platinum M&A activity is available via the Screener App (DSCREENER) in LSEG Workspace with the following download limits:
    • Export to Excel as formulas or values limited to 1,000 deals per 24-hour period.
    • Maximum download is 200 per each event as formulas or values.
