About Adobe Digital Editions

If you believe you will need to download the book because of lack of access to the internet or low bandwidth, you will first need to download the 3rd party software to read the ebooks. For the following ebook providers, you will need to download Adobe Digital Editions:

  • EBSCOhost
  • Proquest

Each book will have a different checkout period that is set by the ebook provider so you will need to be aware of that when you checkout the book.

Downloading Adobe Digital Editions to your Desktop

To download Adobe Digital Editions for your desktop or laptop, you can follow the instructions in each ebook provider or you can go to the Adobe Digital Editions download page

Click the appropriate link for your computer and follow the prompts on your screen to download and install the software.
