Finding and Using E-books

If you believe you will need to download the book because of lack of access to the internet or low bandwidth, you will first need to download the 3^rd party software to read the e-books. For the following e-book providers, you will need to download Adobe Digital Editions:

• EBSCOhost
• Proquest

Each book will have a different checkout period that is set by the e-book provider so you will need to be aware of that when you checkout the book.

Desktop

To download Adobe Digital Editions for your desktop or laptop, you can follow the instructions in each e-book provider or you can go to the Adobe Digital Editions download page

Click the appropriate link for your computer and follow the prompts on your screen to download and install the software.

Mobile Device

To download the software on your mobile phone or tablet, search for Adobe Digital Editions in your app store and then follow the prompts on the screen to install.

Adobe Digital Editions provides troubleshooting and help on their Support page. Any issues with the software will need to be sent to Adobe's support team. Please check their page for information and assistance.
