This guide discusses accessing eresources from outside the campus ip ranges.

Off-campus journal article access

If you are looking for a specific journal rather than doing a subject search in a database, EZProxy will be initiated from off-campus as soon as you click the link in the journal search results screen.

First, You can search for the Journal using the default Seach All box from the library homepage, or if you'd like to a search that is limited to just journals, click on the Online Journals link on the library homepage.

On this page you can: 

1. Search for the journal you are interested in.

2. Browse journals by category

3. Search for a specific article if you already have a DOI or PMID

Once you have a specific journal or article you are interested in viewing, you may be prompted to login using your Purdue Login.

You should then be taken to the requested journal or article just as if you were on-campus.
