Foreign & International Government

Includes information on foreign and international statistical agencies and government resources by country.

Overview

Foreign national governments produce a wide variety of information resources providing information about their countries culture, economics, history, policymaking, and politics. This is a detailed listing of foreign national government information resources. Some foreign countries have a centralized gateway to their websites while others do not. Information sources from countries with non-democratic governments should be used with extreme caution.

Most countries have a judicial system and courts that consider and review civil, criminal, and constitutional law cases. These cases are based on the laws and constitutions of these countries which have been crafted and amended according to their legal and political traditions. Many countries highest courts, or Supreme Courts, have websites featuring information on court activities and decisions reached by these courts.

The countries listed here are primarily ones adhering to some variation of western democratic legal norms whether these norms be influenced by the United States, United Kingdom, or by locally inspired democratic legal traditions.
