Veterinary Specialty Boards Reading Lists

This guide contains the list of books and journals recommended as study materials for the American College of Theriogenologists (ACT) examination. 

Residents are responsible for ensuring they are using the correct edition of a book for their exam.

Please ask your librarian, mentor, or specialty board examination committee if questions arise.

Listed references are considered to contain relevant contributions to the field of theriogenology and may be helpful in the candidate's preparation for completion of the certifying examination. Candidates should not expect themselves to read all the material on the list and are encourage to consult with a mentor about their personal study plan, tailoring their personal reading list and study strategy to meet their own strengths and weaknesses.
