GIS Service at the Purdue University Libraries provides support for spatial research and training across disciplines. Specifically, we support researchers and students on campus via: Geospatial technology training, technical assistance, and learning resource acquisition. Geospatial information discovery, data curation, and development of shared computing infrastructure. Geospatial research support, project planning, geospatial data synthesis, mapping, spatial analysis, and information dissemination.
Purdue's Human Research Protection Program is charged with ensuring that all human subjects research conducted by faculty, staff and students under the auspices of Purdue University is conducted ethically and in a manner that promotes the protection of the rights and welfare of human subjects. In addition to an educational mission, we facilitate submission of research protocols to Purdue's Institutional Review Board (IRB).
