About the Map Room
Purdue University Building Blueprints
Historic blueprints of campus buildings are housed in the Office of the University Architect. The office is located in Freehafer hall and is managed by Angela Slocum.
The Purdue University Map Collection
The Purdue Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Map Room contains over 200,000 maps. We are a depository for:
- US Geological Survey (USGS)
- Indiana Geological Survey (IGS)
- National Geospatial Intelligence Agency - formerly NIMA; Defense Mapping Agency Hydrographic and Topographic Center (DMAH/TC)
- National Ocean Service (NOS)
- National Geographic Society (NG)
- Natural Resources Canada
We also house a collection of over 150,000 aerial photographs.
