Interlibrary Loan

This guide will explain what Interlibrary loan (ILL) is and how you can use ILL to request materials not owned by Purdue Libraries

What is Interlibrary Loan?

At its core, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is sharing library-owned/subscribed resources with other libraries (corporate, academic, public, medical, school, etc.) around the world. Here at the Purdue University Libraries and School of Information Studies, we send our materials all over the world and in return, the world shares with us.

Can't find the thing you need in Library Search? We can try to get it for you!
