New Faculty Orientation: Course Reserves

Resources to help you become oriented and familiar to Purdue Libraries

Course Reserves provide students access to select books and other materials that faculty designate for their specific courses.  Reserves can include physical items held at the library and eBooks accessible online.

Faculty select and place these course materials on reserve (see below).  These materials are available at the circulation desk of the designated library for TWO hours (standard) or one week loan periods for the duration of the faculty request.

Submit course reserves request as EARLY as possible so that students can access them when needed throughout the semester.

To request items be placed on Course Reserves for student usage, please fill out this form (you will need to login using your career account) OR contact one of the Purdue Libraries. Libraries staff will be able to assist you with your reserve items.

If necessary, reserve items can also be purchased by Libraries on your behalf by filling out the online form or contacting one of the libraries.
