Edward Deci is a Professor of Psychology and the Gowen Professor in the Social Sciences at the University of Rochester in New York. The title of his presentation is "Prompting Optimal Motivation in Education."

Issues students face when learning in today's classroom - Michael Wesch

Michael Lee Wesch is Professor of cultural anthropology at Kansas State University. Wesch's work also includes media ecology and the emerging field of digital ethnography, where he studies the effect of new media on human interaction. He is a recipient of the highly coveted “US Professor of the Year” Award from the Carnegie Foundation. The following presentation was given during "The Teaching and Learning Celebration Week" at Purdue in March, 2013.
