Although you can use EndNote Basic without the Installers, they provide important power and advantages:
#1 Set up your computer to EXPORT citations from Libraries' subscription databases into EndNote Basic quickly and in batches.
#2 Set up MS WORD so you can add citations to your papers. This is called "Cite While You Write," and is the most important feature of EndNote Basic.
#3 The CAPTURE button puts a button in your bookmarks so you can "capture" the citation to webpages.
