SCI 360 Natural Hazards Resiliency : Social Life of Information

Information Timeline

When considering where to find information, considering what types of information are available in what types of resources is a useful exercise. For instance, if you are looking for reports of power outages in the immediate aftermath of the storm, television, internet, and newpapers are likely sources. Therefore, Youtube, Web news feeds, and Academic databases containing newspapers (Lexis Nexis, ABI/Inform, Academic Search Premier) are likely places to start.
