ENGR 131 : Resources on Engineering Disciplines: Purdue Engineering Experiences

GEP serves the students, staff and faculty of Purdue University College of Engineering, offering comprehensive undergraduate and graduate academic programs in education, research and learning with focus on diversity, experience, reputation and effective solutions to the global engineering challenges of the 21st century and beyond.

As a Purdue Professional Practice student, you will learn what a professional in your field does -- by doing it. As you progress in the Professional Practice Program, you will find yourself performing jobs that you would expect to do after graduation. Your position and responsibilities will change through the course of your Professional Practice as you become better able to handle increasing diversity, responsibility, and levels of challenge in your work sessions.

EPICS is a unique program in which teams of undergraduates are designing, building and deploying real systems to solve engineering-based problems for local community service and education organizations. EPICS was founded at Purdue University in Fall 1995.

The SURF program provides students across all engineering, science and technology disciplines with an intensive research experience, allowing them to work closely with graduate students and professors in their respective schools.
