There are numerous governmental and non-governmental resources describing and documenting public policy issues facing the Greater Lafayette area and Tippecanoe County. Relevant governmental resources are prepared by city and county governments, Indiana state agencies, and U.S. Government agencies. These resources provide analytical and statistical documentation of issues affecting community activities, can be used to enhance public participation in governmental policymaking, and may be required by local, state, or federal laws. Examples include:
Data.census.gov/ (Provides economic, demographic, and social statistics on areas nationwide including communities, zip codes, and census tracts.). See American Community Survey section of this website for post-2010 Census data.
