Library Toolbars
The Purdue Libraries are beginning to develop unique browser toolbars to serve groups of students across campus. The toolbars can be downloaded quickly and installed in Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Safari.
Each toolbar contains some standard tools and services along with links to resources and databases appropriate for each target audience. If desired, multiple toolbars can be installed and then viewed when needed by using the hide/show feature in your browser.
These are very much a work in progress.
- Management & Economics LibraryThe MyParrish Toolbar targets students and faculty in the School of Management, Dept. of Hospitality & Tourism Management, Dept. of Agricultural Economics, Dept. of Consumer Science & Retailing, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, and other business, management, and related schools and departments.
- Siegesmund Engineering LibraryThe ENGR TECH Toolbar targets students and faculty in the Schools of Engineering, School of Technology, and related schools and departments.
- Life Sciences LibraryThe Life Sciences Toolbar targets students and faculty in the life sciences and related schools and departments. Still under construction.
- Humanities, Social Science, Education & Hicks Undergraduate LibrariesThis is a general purpose toolbar for liberal arts students that use the HSSE Library and the Hicks Undergraduate Library.
