  • General Science Full Text

  • Web of Science
Covering the sciences, social sciences, and arts & humanities. Mainly covers scholarly journals and conference proceedings, not newspaper articles or magazines. Covers more journals than General Science Full Text.
  • Master List of Libraries Databases
Can further limit by subject at the top and by sub-topic on the left side.

Citing your sources

Why should you cite your sources?

  • Shows you have done your research
  • Lends credibilty and support to your research and recommendations
  • Allows others to reproduce your research process
  • Acknowledges others' contributions

Be as specific as you can: cite specific pages if possible; cite a particular chapter instead of the whole book, especially if chapters are written by different authors, etc.

The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) website has a guide for APA formatting. You will need to choose the type of document you want to cite on the left side (book , article, etc.)  The link below goes to the page on citing articles.
