An excellent place to find information on energy careers is the annual Occupational Outlook Handbook produced by the U.S. Labor Dept's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). BLS' Career Outlook provides information on various professions. In addition, cost of living rates vary by different regions of the U.S. Consult BLS' Regional Offices for information about cost of living and prices in various U.S. regions. Indiana is part of the Chicago region.
