A number of U.S. Government agencies are involved in natural resources policy implementation and prepare a variety of information resources documenting their activities including:

Biodiversity Information Serving Our Nation (Interagency resource on species occurrence.)

U.S. Forest Service
Natural Resources Conservation Service (Conducts soil conservation programs.)
U.S. Drought Portal  (Multiagency compilation of drought information resources)
Local Climatological Data (Historical and current U.S. weather data for selected areas).
National Invasive Species Council
NOAA Fisheries Recovery Plans (Covers oceanic species.)

National Renewable Energy Laboratory (Energy Dept. agency performing cutting edge energy research.)
Environmental Protection Agency (Premier U.S. Govt. environmental agency.)
Bureau of Land Management (Administers federally owned lands in western U.S.)
Bureau of Ocean Energy  Management 

Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement
(These two Interior Dept. agencies manage the environmental and economically responsible development of offshore oil and natural gas and conduct environemtnal and safety oversight of offshore oil and natural gas operations.)

Fish and Wildlife Service Recovery Plans (Administers onshore and inland endangered species plans.)
Fish and Wildlife Service Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill (Gulf of Mexico)
Keystone XL Pipeline Project (Dept. of State)(Covers proposed construction of 1,700 mile pipeline to transport crude oil from Alberta, Canada to Oklahoma & Texas delivery points.)
