This "think-tank has conducted international affairs and national security policy research for the U.S. Government and military. HSSE library has many of its recent reports and many of these reports are also available on Rand's website.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty: This U.S. Government chartered organization broadcasts news and information to countries of the former Soviet bloc and has an extensive website of news reports and analysis.
National Security Archive Electronic Briefing Books Located at George Washington University, this organization makes aggressive use of the Freedom of Information Act to obtain declassified U.S. Government documents on foreign policy and national security.
Cold War International History Project: This project, located at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC, provides access to documentary resources on the Cold War from Western and Soviet bloc countries.
Parallel History Project on Cooperative Security (NATO and Warsaw Pact)-This Swiss Defense Ministry sponsored resource provides primary source documentation on Cold War political, diplomatic, and military developments.
